Welcome to The Globe website
 The
Globe is a 16th Century building situated right in the centre of Fowey,
Cornwall. Fowey has plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs to while away
a few hours and also offers passenger ferries to Polruan, Golant and the
working fishing village of Mevagissey - home of the famous Lost Gardens
of Heligan.
Fowey is the perfect place to hang up your belongings for a few days as
attractions such as The Eden Project, Lanhydrock House and endless views
along coastal footpaths are nearby.
The Globe Posting House offers excellent accommodation with a friendly atmosphere.
We also have a licensed Bar and Restaurant
serving a good selection of local fish and shellfish and other locally sourced
produce. We also open lunchtimes and Cornish cream teas are available all
year round. The bar and restaurant are open
everyday for lunches and dinner during high season. Bookings are available.
The restaurant is available for functions and we can cater for up to sixty
